Dear Friends and Members,
Wow! Spring has sprung in a fast way this year. One of the biggest joys I have felt in a long time was recently when Dr. Tom and I were surveying our back yard garden. He was saying, "I wonder what that is?" and I immediately had to go and look - over 10 tulip bulbs had transformed into plants and they were poking their shoots through the soil. Isn't it just amazing how we forget about seeds we have planted and then, wow, something wonderful happens?
It wasn't so many years ago that I did not have an appreciation for Spring. I thought it was a nice time - I could put away my dark clothes and bring out bright colors and sandals. While that is still true, Spring brings such a confirmation of how the law of cause and effect really works. Just when we think something is dead, a resurrection takes place.
What seeds have you been planting lately? Are you still watching the news, trusting that something wonderful and encouraging will be shared? We must stand guard at the gate of our minds. Since the creation process depends totally on our dominate thoughts, may the best ones win! As we move into our warmer weather and a more carefree approach to life, let us remember to be grateful for all that is and all that is on the way, even though at the moment we might not know it. Gratitude and love are the two best gifts we can plant and share. I am affirming that you and your family are experiencing the best life has to offer. If ever you find the need or desire for a spiritual tune-up, call me (702.255.6412) and let's plant some new thoughts for tomorrow's garden. I love and support each of you.
Blessings,
Rev. Cynthia
